'Rogue One' Parody Teaser Trailer
It gets crazy.
It gets crazy.
Trailer just dropped of the first Star Wars side story: Rogue One. I see Mon Mothma, AT-AT's, the usual Star Wars production design. It looks rad. Let's hope its good.
I'm personally more of a Skywalker Saga person. I'm not getting super excited about the spin-off movies quite yet. Hope you enjoy!

Here's something new! A 360 virtual reality fan film. If you watch on your phone using the YouTube app or YouTube app you can experience the film facing the direction you chose.
Some time after the death of old Sheev Palapatine, various military factions vie for power in the fallen Empire. Among them is Lune Sicarii (Maude Garrett), a sort of force sensative ronin. She and Rebel Commander Jate Antoninus (Keahu Kahuanui) go head to head with the remaining pro-Empire powers in the galaxy.
Directed by Leonard Wilkes
Zachary Antell put together this infomative and beautiful shot comparison of Star Wars Episodes IV and VII. Whether you like it or not there is no doubting the creative team behind The Force Awakens intended to mirror the films that came before it, especially A New Hope. Here Antell displays the De-specialized copy of Star Wars and digital copy of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens side by side to bring the juxtaposition to full potential. The two tracks used, "Rey's Theme" and "Jedi Steps" are taken from the official soundtrack. Thank you, Zach!
While working on a different idea I took Rey's Theme and decided to slow it down as much as I could using software available to me. I was using Adobe Audition and I was able to slow down Rey's theme down to 800%, or 8 times slower. After I slowed it down it sounded terrible. It was crunchy, a lot of digital artifacting, etc. I played around with the levels and reverb. Finally I think I arrived at something that sounds like a new work on it's own. A longer, drawn out, maybe even sadder version of John Williams's original work. John Williams really is the best, isn't he? Thanks for listening!
Finally, instead of simply a still image during the song, I decided to edit a short loop of all her shots from the promotional material. I enjoy watching it because I feel the meaning of the footage changes with the tone of the music. The original track is available on the official Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens soundrack. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks!
About a month or so ago Star Wars Wars was finally blocked by Sony Classical in "244 countries." (Are there even that many?) At the time my YouTube account was not in good standing so I could not upload a modified version of the video. Now that my account is back in good standing I have opted to silence the areas of the work that Sony Classical is claiming copyright. The video has been renamed "Star Wars Wars: Episodes I-VI at the same time" to reflect the absense of Episode VII. Because it remains in 360p and has wholes in the audio, the best place to continuing to watching Star Wars Wars on this site. I only re-uploaded it to YouTube to keep a presense there. Have a nice day!
