If you're a fan of friends or even if you hate it, for some reason this combo works and will bring a smile to your face, and a laugh track to your ears.
YouTube user stryder HD has gone above and beyond in his Rogue One teaser trailer. Here included are clips not only from the Star Wars saga episodes I-VI but also from other performances from Felicity Jones. They don't quite work, but it's interesting to give a meta-context to the new film... casting known actors as leads is kind of a new thing. Fun to watch regardless.
Here comes a classic of Star Wars parody mashups. One mechanized foe voices another. Embrace the reality that these characters are the same. Next we need some kind of John Connor / Luke Skywalker mashup. Perhaps it exists already. I dunno.

From YouTube user Nick Skywalker comes a pretty great blend of Star Wars IV footage intercut with newly released Rogue One footage. Together the combined films create a trailer that contextualizes the upcoming film for those who are not as familiar with the place in the timeline the new film will fill. Great job, Nick!
FINALLY! Our copies of The Force Awakens have arrived and we're able to analyze the film frame by frame, sound by sound. We're throwing as many tools as we can get our hands on to find out every secret, easter egg, and in-joke we can find. Youtube User Ross Smith has made an important discovery by isolating the exact sounds that Rey hears as she's beaconed further into Maz's dungeon.

In 1978 the phenomenon of Star Wars had begun to be realized. Nothing indicated this more than the arrival of the first ever Star Wars parody film. Renie Fosselius and Michael Wiese teamed up to make their own film Hardware Wars. The film follows a young Fluke Starbucker, Princess Anne-Droid, Ham Salad, and Chewchilla on a space adventure pitted agains an evil Darth Nader. Much of the props, ships, and production design resembles common household applinces and tools. It's great. Check it out.
